Tara has worked with multiple levels of fitness participants, from
beginner to advanced level athletes. Tara herself has been involved in
the fitness industry for over 5 years teaching and training. Previously,
always an active athlete, participating regularly in recreational level
sports such as swimming, snowboarding, volleyball, kick-boxing, and
dance (jazz/ballet/barre-a-terre), and completing marathon/halfmarathons/
10k's. After completing her certification to be registered
with the BCRPA as a Personal Fitness Trainer, she decided to help others
get to the level of fitness they so desired. She also incorporates her
extensive knowledge for Pilates and Yoga into some of her client's
routines for an added source of well being and balance for core
strength. Tara's knowledge, gained through her participation in
recognized courses, such as sports nutrition, knee rehabilitation,
fitness and postural assessment, helps to dial it up a notch for those
who have already “tried everything”. |
Philosophy
Whatever your ideal is, that is where you should strive to be. If you are happy and healthy, it doesn't matter what you look like, what your weight is, how fast or strong you are. If you can achieve
inner happiness through exercising and leading an overall healthy and balanced lifestyle, that's what's most important. Let me help guide you there, and then most importantly, stay there.
